The Herlihy Supermarket Group started from humble beginnings when Pat & Maureen Herlihy opened their neighbourhood Centra in Bishopstown in 1980. Pat, who was a director in Musgrave instilled a working ethic in his family & his son Brian took over the business from his parents in 1996. Brian, together with his brother Paul & later with his younger brother Kevin commenced on an expansion plan .

Herlihy Group consists of seven stores, Bishopstown, Fermoy, Grand Parade, Mallow, Millstreet, Oliver Plunkett St & Patrick St. We employ over 200 people.

The Fresh Food offering in Herlihy’s is unique in that we invest into developing new recipe ideas & meal solutions which we market under our Kitchen brand.
